I received this lovely certificate today and a letter informing us that Quintavia Peter Piper is now working as a Hearing dog and is living with his recipient in the North of England. We wish them both many happy years together x

Our latest addition Daisy has settled in well. We are totally smitten with this funny, naughty, super cute breed.

We had a lovely day at Leeds Championship show today. Quintavia Stars In Her Eyes, Poppy was placed first in her class and received some very complimentary comments from the judge about her overall condition.

Not too far to travel for today's show. Poppy was again placed first at Birmingham Championship Show.

Thanks to Shel Cowles for the lovely photo's of Poppy x

We had a lovely day out today at the Hearing Dogs For Deaf People training centre in Bielby, Yorkshire. We were invited along to see a demonstration of Piper, Quintavia Peter Pipers skill's. Piper has just qualified as a fully trained hearing dog and will be off to his new home as an assistance dog very soon. Both Chelsea and I were so proud to see Piper carry out his duties informing his trainers of noises such as doorbells, telephone ringing and smoke detectors, We both had tears in our eyes watching him and we are incredibly proud to have bred this super talented and very lovely young boy.

We enjoyed our day at one of our favourite Breed Club Open Shows today, West Of England Cocker Club.

Tinker had a couple of nice places including a 1st in Undergrad.

Poppy again won her class and then went on to win Best Veteran In Show.

Peggy came for a day out and enjoyed all the attention!

We attended Southern Counties Championship Show today under Breed Specialist Eve Milburn (Brynceri)

Tinker (Quintavia Fairy Dust) was 1st in a huge Junior class of 17 and Poppy (Quintavia Stars In her Eyes JW) was 1st In Veteran and then went on to win the Challenge Certificate! This is Poppy’s 2nd CC to go with her 4 RCC’s. Our thanks to everyone at the show for their congratulations and lovely comments about Poppy and to those who have been so supportive an encouraging and of course today's judge.

A beautiful day in the sunshine at Loughborough Open Show. We showed Tinker in the breed classes and decided to show Poppy in her 1st AV Veteran class where she was placed 1st. It’s hard to believe this girl is now a veteran and is still doing us proud!

Tinker won her 3 classes, was Best Of Breed and then later on was shortlisted to the last 7 for Best in Show under Claire Sharp (Afterglow).

We had a lovely day at Banbury & District Open Show where Peggy the Pug was awarded Best Puppy In Breed.

Chelsea and I had a lovely weekend away where I judged at Windsor Gundog Open Show. I had a good, quality entry and it was lovely to later hear that my Best Of Breed went on to win Best In Show. Congratulations Sarah Pheasant with Molkara Druids Quest At Chamerl. Thanks to all exhibitors for entering your lovely dogs.

A short drive today to Midland Cocker Championship Show. We were delighted that Poppy (Quintavia Stars In Her Eyes JW) was 1st in a quality AOC Open Bitch Class. Tinker also had a lovely 2nd place. Many Thanks to breed specialist Neil Woods.

A lovely day today at one of our favourite shows, South Wales and Monmouth Cocker Spaniel Championship Show. Quintavia Fairy Dust, Tinker was placed 1st in both of her classes and Quintavia Stars In Her Eyes was placed 2nd. Many Thanks to today's judge breed specialist Janetta Fairburn and the committee for a lovely day.

I have just taken this photo of Stan and thought I would share it. Looking great for 11 1/2 yrs of age. A lovely, gentle boy x

We attended the North Of England Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show today. Tinker was placed 2nd in both of her classes. Well Done Tinks!

Here is the latest photo of Quintavia Fairy Dust, Tinker. We think she is maturing beautifully. A lovely girl to live with and a real show girl in the ring xxx

Another General Open Show today for Quintavia Fairy Dust and Golbourne Chinese Whispers At Quintavia and what a FAB day! Tinker was first in her class, Best Of Breed and Group 2 and Peggy was Reserve Best Of Breed. Both girls enjoyed their day out.

Below is Tinkers critique from Breed and Group Judge Di Arrowsmith... and a photo of Peggy and Tinker taken at the show.

"1st & BOB & Gundog Group 2 Herd's Quintavia Fairy Dust. Very smart indeed, typical, balanced, roan bitch she excelled in skull proportions, sufficient work in her face, typical expression, good leathers, clean neck, good sound front and feet well off for bone. Excellent angles fore and aft. Very good ribs, deep, barrelled and well ribbed up. Strong in top line, loin and croup, well set on tail which she showed off throughout her excellent movement. A real joy to go over."

We attended a General Open Show today, Newark and Nott's canine Society our first for a very long time. Quintavia Fairy Dust had a great day being placed 1st in her class and Best Of Breed. Not bad for a baby who is just out of puppy. Well Done Tinker and Chelsea.

I ventured into the ring with Peggy, Golbourne Chinese Whispers At Quintavia, her very first show and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Peggy was placed 2nd! Well Done Puglet xxx

A rather difficult journey due to high wind's today as we travelled down for London Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show. Hugo and Tinker both had good placings in strong classes.

One of our favourite shows today, West Of England Cocker Spaniel Club. Hugo made a rare appearance and was placed 2nd in his class, Tinker was also placed in a strong puppy class.

Peggy also came along for the day and joined in the puppy walk. She thoroughly enjoyed the day and all the fuss and cuddles she received from fellow exhibitors, Thank you to everyone who made Peggy's day so enjoyable.

Many Thanks to Shel Cowles for the lovely photo's of our dogs x

Our first show of the year today and we were delighted with Quintavia Fairy Dust's first place in a quality puppy class. Many Thanks to breed specialist Mrs Anne Webster for Tinkers first place.

Here is a recent photo of Quintavia Foolin Around, Simon. We think he is maturing well....

Well I guess it's time to introduce our latest family member....... Peggy the Pug!

We have been searching for a quality, health tested puppy for a couple of years and we were lucky to find Peggy's breeder who health tests above and beyond anything we could have wished for. Peggy is our family pet but as she is of such good quality we may show her for a bit of fun.

Peggy has been with us for a couple of months and has well and truly taken over the house. As an animal loving family we have all be surprised at how quickly Peggy has taken over our home and our hearts. She is an absolute delight to live with, she is so funny and so cute.

Quintavia Show Stopper celebrated his Birthday on Boxing day, hard to believe he is now 12 yrs old. He is still going strong and doesn't act like an old man apart from a little selective hearing, just when I think he is going a bit deaf he proves he can still hear quite well ! Ringo continues to be a joy to us and is my dog in a million xx

I received this lovely email from one of my " puppy " owners. Winston's mom is Quintavia Stars In Her Eyes ( Poppy's ) Grandmother, Quintavia Starring Lady ( Sally ) I have kept close to my original lines for excellent temperament's and they have all looked how I like a cocker to look.

Thanks for the update Rob.

"Hi Tracey Long time no speak but it's Rob Jan and Megan who have Winston he will be 11 next April.

We thought we would give you an update He is getting older now (bless him) but he has been an absolute dream. He is 100% bullet proof and everyone who meets him love him. All our friends want Winston to socialise their new puppies.

Megan even entered him in his first dog show last year at the age of 10 and he came 3rd out of a field of 68 dogs. Thanks for letting us have him, he has been a dream and we hope to have a few more years yet.

Please find a photo of him in his Xmas PJ's. Regards Rob Jan & Meg"

We wish all our family, friends and Quintavia Cocker owners a Very Happy New Year xx
